Why is it important?

During the initial phase of biofloc cultures, there is instability because the bacterial communities are in the process of settling and multiplying. The addition of organic substrates improves colonization and promotes more stable conditions.

Perspectives

We expect the information to be used at a commercial pilot level. Its implementation is cheap and has extensive benefits for faster maturing of BFT systems.
