What is it about?

It is about on the relationship between genetic diversity historically rooted many centuries ago and its relationship with the level of technology advancement the countries achieved in the pre discoveries era, in which globalization had not an effect yet.

Why is it important?

This research is important because it confirms with a more accurate measure of technological advanced the existing evidence according to which genetic diversity can enhance technological development upon certain level of genetic diversity but can also have an adverse effect after that given point.

Perspectives

In my view this adds to our common knowledge on the historical deep roots of economic development, contributing to a striving and also controversial literature that studies how the current development of countries has been greatly influenced by geographical and (ancient) history factors.
