Why is it important?
The core is an important component in a Boling Water reactor. It is important to keep its istructural integrity. However, the nuclear reaction and the conditions of operation introduce some aging in the material. Therefore, it is reduced such structural integrity.
Perspectives
The metdology is useful to evaluate the structural integrity of the shroud core as it is aged.
