What is it about?

First part of the paper brings general definition of user interfaces. User interface is defined as the space with easily identified places where components are put. Components are elements visible to the user that can have different characteristics. The factor that is presented combines influence of the position of element in the interface and the influence that comes from its features. This way the influence power of each and every element of GUI can be measured and compared.
