What is it about?
The article presents a complex description of the crowd. The model of the database that can be used to store information about the crowd is provided. On top of that, the taxonomy of measures for crowd description is presented. The paper aims at clarifying the field of crowd properties assessment. The formal description of the crowd can be used for further introducing of new crowd properties in clear form. The database model is fully compatible with the formal approach.

Why is it important?
The study on crowd properties is not new, however, it lacs the formal foundations. The paper unifies different approaches, presents means for implementation and sets the ground for further development and discussion.
Perspectives
In my opinion, this paper fills the gap between computer science needs in the field of collective intelligence and currently strong approaches based on more sociological studies. The wisdom of crowds is a fact and it is needed to pursue it. One of the first steps in any research should be setting the meaning of basic notions (primitives) used in it. This article aims exactly at this.
