What is it about?

Decent work is more than just having a job. It means having a fair wage, safe working conditions, equal opportunities and treatment, social protection, personal development, social integration, and the freedom to express opinions and concerns at work. Our article reviews 48 studies that measured decent work and its antecedents and outcomes. We provide an integrated framework that shows how different factors affect acquiring decent work and how decent work affects people's well-being and satisfaction.
