What is it about?

Site-directed mutagenesis has been used to substitute distinct amino acids located in DNA-binding and oligomerization domains of ArgR repressor of Bacillus stearothermophilus. The data provide new information to explain the mechanism of repressor-operator DNA recognition in thermophilic bacteria.
