Why is it important?

This article is important to the field because it contributes to existing research about flipping, and also provides a new perspective on flipping from the teacher's perspective in an English (ELA) classroom.

Perspectives

In my opinion, this article describe both the success and challenges of implementing flipped strategies. I think that this type of teaching can be truly beneficial for students, but as this article shows, it is not an easy transition from traditional structure to a flipped structure for the curriculum and units. Stay tuned for a future article from the students' perspectives!
