What is it about?

Aqueous environments are normally in-homogeneous, diffusion of physical quantities, such as temperature or contaminants, is thus an anisotropic process, i.e. different rates in different directions. Simulation of such an anisotropic process in SPH is non trivial since SPH approximations are basically based on isotropic weight functions. This work attempts to develop a SPH formulation to be able to tackle the issue.
