Why is it important?

Surgery, chemotherapy, and targeted therapy are currently the main therapeutic options for breast cancer therapy. However, these approaches are not completely effective (disease relapse due to residual tumor cells and metastases) and are associated with serious life-threatening side effects

Perspectives

It should be noted that addition of other therapeutic approaches such as surgery, chemotherapy, and targeted therapy to combination of BDM therapy may lead to better therapeutic outcome which will be the goal of future studies.
