Why is it important?

Our study fills existing knowledge gaps by presenting a contingent resource-based view for eco-innovation. The results explain why some firms with high technological level do not pursue eco-innovation.

Perspectives

In addition to market demands and environmental policies, other factors, such as competitive intensity, market turbulence, technological turbulence, and top management's attiudes toward sustainability development, may also serve as the moderators in the technology-eco-innovation relationship.
