Pterygium is a common ocular surface disease with abnormal fibroblast function. We show how we functionally screen for important lincRNA that affects pterygial fibroblasts.

Three lincRNA may influence pterygium progression and may be targeted in the future.


There is currently no effective treatment for pterygium apart from surgical excision.
