Understanding and Predicting Terrorist Attacks

What is it about?

To understand and predict the terrorist attack, one must exploit different factors such as location, attack type, a terrorist group, etc. This work primarily aims at predicting a terrorist attack on country and city. In addition, we also predict the target types chosen by various terrorist groups in future. It is well known that external factors such as news and social media have a major impact on various activities of terrorist groups. Therefore, in this work, we try to incorporate the effects of news media on mining various relationships.
