What is it about?

The present research investigates the size effect of chelator to reduce lead(II) poisoning in rat bodies. Chelator was prepared in nano scale by sonochemistry method. Chemotherapy shows by decreasing in chelator particle size; more lead(II) amount were removed from rat’s organs.

Why is it important?

By decreasing the particle size of chelator, more concentration of lead(II) releasing was observed. So, we need less drug(Chelator, Deferasirox) to release the lead poisoning.
