What is it about?
ELECTRE TRI is an important group decision making method. We generalize the ELECTRE TRI method to group decision making under picture fuzzy information environment in theory. Furthermore, to enrich fundamental studies on picture fuzzy sets, a novel comparison law and an information aggregation tool are developed.

Perspectives
Group decision making under uncertain environment is always an open problem. Types of uncertain information could provide flexible modes for the expression of decision makers' attitude. Some fundamental theoretical studies on both group decision making and picture fuzzy information are considered in this article. More real applications on decision making issues are hoped to be solved by the developed model.
