Concrete bridges deteriorate with time. Models are needed to forecast the future conditions and plan appropriate measures. Available deterioration models include Markov chain, regression based and artificial intelligence. Markov chains model is typically used in practice. The paper proposes the D-S theory to compliment the markov chains model
