Why is it important?

Physiotherapists aspire to apply the most effective and evidence-based interventions to achieve the desired outcomes for their patients. Exercise programmes applied to children and adolescents must not only be effective but also attractive and interesting. Sling Suspension and Gym ball exercise are effective and attractive interventions and easy to apply in clinical practice to improve pain, muscle endurance and posture in adolescent girls with juvenile spinal osteochondrosis (JSO).

Perspectives

Both programmes may be combined and used in the treatment of JSO.
