What is it about?

NAC is recommended by multiple guidelines in treatment o MIBC. Recommendation are mainly based on different chemotherapy regimens. Cis-gem has been used in metastatic patients. We report national tolerability results with over 200 patients treated in NAC setting.

Why is it important?

Cis-gem has been shown similar efficacy to MVAC with better tolerability profile in metastatic MB patients. Despite the regimen has been used for a decade in Finland, thorough evaluation has been lacking. Our objective was to evaluate tolerability of cis-gem NAC treatment and identify potential risk factors for poor tolerance.

Perspectives

I had the privilege to gather national data of NAC treatment. Together with my co-authors we are pleased to report the Finnish experience. Work continues in National data gathering.
