The quality greywater depends not only on the usages but also is affected by quality of tap water of that region. The low BOD levels of the greywater samples is due to low BOD level of tap water due to high chlorination used at the desalination plants.

From the characteristics of the greywater from various sources in residential buildings of Jeddah can be reused for non-potable purposes with simple and inexpensive physical treatment at individual buildings.
Perspectives
It is essential to recycle greywater as almost 70% of the waste water generated in house hold is greywater which can be reuse easily at every building in the city . Water resources are depleting and it is essential that every individual should think of reuse options.
