What is it about?
Mineralization is one of the criteria of water quality. We investigated a number of water bodies (Ukraine) and assessed their quality according to this parameter in accordance with national and international standards.

Why is it important?
The parameter of mineralization makes it possible to quickly and easily determine the total salt content of water and evaluate its quality. The study of water on this parameter allows us to quickly identify the possible nature of its pollution and offer recommendations for improving its quality.
Perspectives
This article shows the relative valuation parameters on the example of standards of different countries. A detailed study of the waters of one region using only one express parameter (mineralization) made it possible to determine the influence of natural conditions on the quality of natural water of this region
