What is it about?
The book review rises up to some challenges by offering a thorough, systematic, and globally minded examination of the evolving field of multimodality, with a specific focus on media, models, and trends within the Chinese context.

Why is it important?
It is worth mentioning that the theoretical frameworks for multimodal analysis developed in this book are not confined to the Chinese context. Their applicability is broad enough to encompass the multimodal analysis of other languages as well, aiding in the advancement and refinement of multimodal research.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure because it was done efficiently under the guidance of my mentor. This article has also allowed me to become more involved in the field of multimodal translation research.
