Why is it important?

The studies included in the volume aim to address questions that dig into the interface of sociolinguis- tics and Spanish phonology and whose answers have not been found by previous research with a focus on production.

Perspectives

As a Spanish speaker and also researcher in the field of phonology, it was fascinating to learn that other colleagues are interested in the Spanish language and also in sociophonetics. Writing this review was very enlightening since, as a researcher, I got a deeper understanding of how to communicate findings in a clear and comprehensive way. I hope this review invites others to read the complete volume.
