What is it about?
In this article, the research conducted an experiment to test the multisensory speech perception in native Chinese speakers. Two factors were identified to contribute to the reaction time and the response types of the participants.

Why is it important?
The expectation and the familiarity of the preceptor towards the speech is less studied in the literature. This work provides a framework in studying such factors in the laboratory.
