What is it about?
it is usually thought that the head verb plays a critical role in generating a sentence. Here, we want to explore the question further. What is it that hinges on the interface between syntax and semantics. Instead of the general claim of a thematic-role principle, we think the syntactic strucuture is the actual projection of the inner time structure of events.

Why is it important?
The aspectual role description of the syntactic behavior offers a unified way to describe and interpret some lingusitic phenomena.
Perspectives
As is claimed that the inner time strucure and the measurement of the events is the actual mechanism in the linking , howevet, this article only focuses on some constructional variation headed with unergatives and unaccusatives, the research is far from being sufficient. Hopefully, some other aspects of linguistic phenomena could also be tackled in the further study.
