What is it about?
Higher Education admissions units are tasked with creating a diverse student body. This study demonstrates how college recruiter's understandings of diversity affect their engagement with diverse prospective students. Findings indicate that certain representations of diversity either support or reject particular diversity characteristics. Ultimately, the positioning of diversity matters in supporting accessible and equitable programming for prospective college students.
