What is it about?
Noxious gases emissions continue to harm the environment. This work presents a comprehensive review of the adsorbents that are most suitable for noxious gases sequestration. This article examines the suitability of adsorbents like metal organic frameworks (MOFs), Activated Carbon (AC), Polymers, and Membranes, for noxious gas capture, in post and pre - combustion conditions.

Why is it important?
The findings of this review article showed the adsorbents that are best suited for adsorption, selectivity , stability , regeneration and cycle of performance. for the various harmful gases. including greenhouse gases responsible for global warming.
Perspectives
I hope this article clarifies the issues surrounding the suitability of existing adsorbents for capturing noxious gases responsible for global warming. Environmental sustainability will depend on the use of clean fuels. Carbon capture using adsorbents and other materials, will contribute to the reduction of carbon footprints, and as such needs to be improved for noxious gas sequestration.
