What is it about?
Recently, self-medication practices spread and became more of a phenomenon in the community of Somaliland, due to lack of public health laws in the country. This study assessed Knowledge, Attitude and Practices towards use of unprescribed drugs among adults in a selected city of Somaliland.

Why is it important?
our results show that the prevalence of unprescribed drug usage among adults of Hargeisa city was remarkably high due to easy availability of non-prescribed medication.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure as i met and worked along with a senior researchers with whom I have got a great knowledge and guidance. This article will also provide me to a greater involvement in research as it is my first publication.
