What is it about?

Brucellosis is a remerging zoonotic disease under the small holder diary subsection with socioeconomic consequences. This was thought to be uncommon in the sub-sector but now is becoming a problem. Increased consumption of unpasteurized milk and milk products in urban and per urban areas may pose risk to consumers.

This study was conducted to inform policy of what had happened in the sub-sector after the collapse of the control program and possible interventions.
