What is it about?

Over the year, ash from wood (wood ash) is being used to ameliorate soil, in this work, we showed for the first time that Cocoa Bean Testa Ash is better soil amendment as well as maize yield than wood ash. We also showed that wood ash and Cocoa bean Testa ash mixed together has potential of soil amendment and crop yield. Using Cocoa Bean Testa Ash alone or in addition to wood ash offer alternative to using mineral fertilizer which definitely reduce the dependency on mineral fertilizer.
