What is it about?
Sulfa drugs are important therapeutic agents. Their metallation brings remarkable changes in their pharmacological and toxicological behavior. Hence present work deals with microwave assisted synthesis of Ni(II) complexes of sulfa drugs and their structural and thermal analysis along with antibacterial investigations.

Through this work we are aiming towards designing of new metal based drugs which might have enhanced pharmacological implications.
Perspectives
Publication of this article is seen as an opportunity for me that researchers working in the interdisciplinary areas of relevance, might collaborate, to extend this preliminary effort. So that final development of the mentioned metallodrug may be achieved.
