What is it about?

Color is the main characteristic perceived by the most human senses and it also determines consumer acceptance in various industries like textiles, food, and cosmetics. To meet these needs, industries started using synthetic dyes which are totally carcinogenic and toxic to the environment. In this study natural pigments from bacteria is used to dye cotton fabric and wolleen threads, along with the use of suitable mordant.
