What is it about?
The manuscript reports the results of the study of changes in the activity and selectivity of M-BEA catalysts in the CO2-PDH process over time (TOS = 2.5 h and 10 h). It has been established that the balanced acid-base characteristics of the surface determine the efficiency in the PDH-CO2 process. The acid-base characteristics of the catalysts' surface – the concentration, strength and nature of active sites – determine their activity, selectivity for propene, and operational stability. The main cause for the catalysts' deactivation during operation in the PDH-CO2 is surface carbonization.
