What is it about?
This study identified main determinants of FDI in Sudan. It analyzed the long-term equilibrium between the selected variables such as real GDP, exchange and inflation rates, domestic investment, openness of trade, and FDI. A number of internal and external factors, especially GDP, investment/GDP, trade openness, inflation, exchange rate, and growth rate were found to impact the state of FDI in Sudan

The study is an important and informative contribution to this domain in the context of Sudan. Unlike the current study, no previous study has considered a time of three decades. Further, the current study is an important research work that highlights the value of FDI determinants in the Sudanese context.
