What is it about?
Plant DNA extraction is somewhat difficult because of the interfering secondary metabolites in them. This study reports the successful DNA extraction procedure from the tubers using the SDS extraction protocol. the DNA extracted was further characterized using the Sangers method and the weight was determined with gel electrophoresis.
