Nigrosine black dye is harmful to kidney cells of fish.

Why is it important?
This is the first toxicological study of Nigrosine black dye for freshwater fish. This dye is used in tanning industries for coloring leather and the effluent of this dye reaches in water bodies which is harmful to aquatic animals, especially fish. Fish is an important food source for humans if this dye accumulates in fish tissue it will be harm full for human beings.
Perspectives
This is an alarming condition for water bodies that are located near the tanning industries.
