What is it about?
The impact of people's culture and beliefs on the counselling profession. The study explores the impact of cultural beliefs and values on the provision of guidance services in Ghana. Using a purposive sampling technique, the study recruited eight participants. The study employed the qualitative design method, the data was collected through semi-structured interviews and analysed using thematic analysis. The findings suggest that cultural beliefs and values play to play in cultural counselling.
