What is it about?

Radio refractivity is an important factor to consider when designing terrestrial radio links as well as installation of remote sensing devices like weather RADAR. The paper tried to find out radio refractivity varies in the lower of part of the troposphere. It is known that from the research that the variation is both temporal and spatial with increasing refractivity during the wet days and decreasing refractivity during the dry days. Stations that are closer to the coast recorded higher refractivity than the stations in the arid and dry zones even during the dry days.

Why is it important?

Our work simultaneously found the variation in radio refractivity and field strength of all the study stations.

Perspectives

This work gave me a unique opportunity to meet and interact with the co-authors who are all eminent researchers. It is my first published work.
