The prevalence of breast cancer globally is at its peak, whereas the level of uptake of breast cancer screening services remains low. What are some of the factors hindering women from utilizing these services? This paper examines possible factors.

Our findings identify critical factors that need to be addressed by responsible stakeholders to increase the uptake of breast cancer screening services, hence increasing the quality of life and survival rates.
