What is it about?
This is about the various depositional structures produced during the eruption of lava, from volcanos or large fractures called fissures. We have lava rocks in parts of Maharashtra, Gujrat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka etc. The present work is about finding these structures in the Rocks north of Bombay and their significance.

Why is it important?
It is important to know the method by which magma came to the surface and got deposited. As these structures can help find that.
Perspectives
In my opinion these structures reported here are helpful in recognition of similar structures and features in other areas and their interpretation.
