What is it about?
The integration of constructivist learning theory in CSBL is founded on the premise that learners actively construct knowledge through their experiences and subsequent reflection. This study aims to investigate the enhancement of critical thinking in nursing education through constructive scenario-based learning (CSBL) in an undergraduate nursing program.

Why is it important?
This research study focuses on the field of nursing education, highlighting how CSBL enhances students’ learning through skill development. Nursing students prioritize providing safe patient care during practice, guided by tutors who play a crucial role in fostering conceptual thinking by integrating cognitive skills. This is achieved by interpreting information generated from CSBL using high-fidelity mannequins. These approaches empower nurses during educational programs and clinical training, and later in their professional practice within hospital settings, aligning with the patient safety goals and policies.
Perspectives
This research article hopes to benefit the faculty in the nursing field, which highlights the importance of Constructive Scenario-Based Learning in improving student outcomes when providing patient care during clinical practice.
