Why is it important?
Identifying the constraints has actually revealed the nature of the clinical setting in which students are assessed. Applying the findings of the study to solving the challenges as encountered in clinical training of students will help to reduce the constraints to minimum while improving satisfaction of nursing students, enhancing their attitude to clinical learning and their competencies.
Perspectives
Many health training institution may have drawbacks in creating standard training environments for their students. This study has revealed some constraints as it influences students clinical assessment. The findings were very interesting and I hope it may be helpful when properly harnessed by institutions with similar problems.
