Why is it important?

Finger drop is not always due to posterior interosseous nerve palsy. Other causes include Cervical radiculopathy, Parsonage Turner syndrome and tendon rupture.

Perspectives

We were able to study a large number of patients with finger drop and figure out the causes. We highlight clinical clues that help in localizing the site of involvement and the likely cause.
