Why is it important?
Self care management is important for patient dignity, self confidence and for the efficient and effective use of nursing services.
Perspectives
My mission in publishing is always to empower nurses and others to act in fresh new ways. I am interested in 'how to' and 'can do' writing for professionals. It is to this end that this article has been written, as a educational feature that encourages colleagues as they try to improve and consolidate best practice.
