Why is it important?

This study found that a number of people with epilepsy were not aware of services available and delivery of services was different in various localities. The development of a clear pathway for the delivery of services is crucial so that everyone with epilepsy has the same service.

Perspectives

This research was a three dimensional study that looked at the views of services users through focus , semi structured interviews with carers alongside an audit across the county of services received. The findings enabled us to develop a clear process from the point of referral to services delivery.
