What is it about?

Metareasoning is a kind of introspective high-level cognition often associated with intelligence in humans. This edited collection of research efforts examines computational approaches to modeling such reasoning. Each chapter compares and contrasts the author's technical work to a general model of metareasoning presented in the introductory chapter of the book.
