What is it about?
The power instability of different Spanish factions increased the violence against the Indians populations; this violence was executed through practices not allowed in the Spanish legislation, but accepted in frontier wars. The Spanish conquerors did not used new violence mechanisms against the Indias, but used cultural referents of other contexts.
