What is it about?

The article shows how Maltese boys were introduced to asylum seekers from Africa and how the attitude of the Maltese boys changed from a prejudicial one to an accepting one, after a series of interventions were carried out at a school they attended.

It is important to promote intercultural sensitivity and intercultural dialogue in today's globalized world.

Perspectives

I would say that carrying out this study was a growth inducing experience for me since it involved creating friendships between Maltese and Africans in a way that would have never happened had I not carried out this interventions. Their attitudes toward one another changed from one which was based on accentuating differences to one of empathy, solidarity and friendship,
