What is it about?

Jamaican teachers and principals participated in a three weeks study tour and capacity building exercise to England in 2013. Since then, they have repositioned themselves as teachers/ school leaders in trying to do their jobs.

Why is it important?

Teacher professionalism; teacher development; teacher collaboration; international partnership working. They all matter. In this case study, teachers reflect on how they've benefit from this international collaboration and how, as a result they will try and improve their own practice.

Perspectives

This is an important area of work. Teacher-capacity building across borders or beyond national borders- especially in the North/South.
