Why is it important?

Terrestial Laser Escaners are dimensional equipments for 3D reconstrucction of large enviroments like brigdes, airplanes, air turbines, etc. These equipments requiere performance evaluation to know the accuracy these can reach.

Perspectives

We believe this publication can be useful to reduce the cost of calibrations of TLS. Also it offers the possibility to cover large volumens using short references lengths.
