What is it about?
We compared people's attitudes toward lesbians and gay men and about lesbian and gay sexualities using national data from six ASEAN countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Anti-gay/lesbian attitudes were widespread, with the most negative held by Indonesians and Malaysians. In contrast, Singaporeans, Thais, and Filipinos had relatively more accepting views.
